We do not ask for or collect government identification numbers, payment card numbers, or precise health records. Payments, if we ever introduce them, are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your card details.

4. Who we share it with

  1. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  2. We use service providers to run the Service — for example hosting and infrastructure providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
  3. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  4. If our business is transferred to another owner, information may transfer with it. We will tell you before that happens and your rights under this policy will not be reduced.

5. Where your information is stored and transferred

  1. Your information is stored on servers in the Republic of Korea.
  2. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: the European Commission and the UK government have each recognised the Republic of Korea as providing an adequate level of data protection. Transfers to us therefore do not require additional safeguards. We keep this position under review and will put appropriate safeguards in place if it changes.
  3. Where the AI feature is used, some content is sent to a provider in the United States. That transfer is described in a separate consent presented in the app before you use the feature.

  • Access limited to those who need it, with access logging
  • Regular internal review of our security controls
  • Physical protection of any premises and media holding personal information
  • Prompt and irreversible deletion once information is no longer needed

8. Your rights

8-1. Everyone

You may ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Contact contact@hansei.team. We respond without undue delay and within one month.

  • have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;

  • restrict how we use your data while a concern is resolved;
  • receive your data in a portable format and have it transmitted to another controller;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal; and
  • complain to your supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA it is the authority for the country where you live.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

8-3. If you are a California resident

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Submit a request to contact@hansei.team.

8-4. If you are in the Republic of Korea

You may exercise the rights set out in the Personal Information Protection Act, including access, correction, deletion and suspension of processing, and may apply to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
